Relax and enjoy yourself at the romantic Hotel Rusthållargården in idyllic Arild. Our hotel is located in the middle of Kullaberg´s Nature Reserve overlooking the glittering waters of Skälderviken. Ever since the 19th century artists have been captivated by the beautiful light between Kullaberg´s three seas as well as by her varied nature. Even today Kullaberg´s dramatic nature invites you to long walks and bicycle rides. (you can walk or cycle for hours and still enjoy a view of the sea).

Contemporary comfort in historic surroundings is our motto and shows that we want to be the forerunners of development while still safeguarding our traditions and cultural sensitivity.

The food at Rusthållargården is exciting. For centuries there have been food cooked and served at these premises. As we now carry our predesessors heritage, you can't help to feel proud.

Now, we could boast of all our awards and excellent reviews, but we feel it more important to tell you about why we are here.What symbolizes us is our love of food, to be working with the best primary produce. When we go up in the nearby oak-clad slopes and pick nettle to soup or rhubarb to consommé, we wish that everbody could enjoy it like we do. Many of our spices and herbs growing in the herb garden on the hill behind the porch. Elderberry to drinks, we pick in the hills around the village, our bread is of course baked in our kitchen, and our crisp bread has become a popular classic.

We are delighted to be able to take Swedish culinary traditions further and allow the traditional local dishes on the menu to intermingle with the modern gourmet menus, where we like to put our mark on contemporary trends and taste guidelines. Welcome to Hotel Rushållargården.
